Catherine Stakel: Sculpture Welcome One Touch and I was captivated, captured by CLAY! Two Dreams; Two works! Each to support what I perceive as Truth, That ALL of Nature, ALL of Us are really Part of ONE WHOLE! Early work prepared me for what would come. Then a Dream imperative resulting in A CHILD IS BORN, gave me new insight, new understanding of Nativity, as it came to life in my hands: not just One child, but the possibility of Any Child! And, Five years later, another Dream gave birth to a work which seemed so big to me, that I laughed. Now in creation over the past 5years, and provisionally called Flesh, it runs, to the extent possible, a gamut of Humanity. We're ALL in this together!!!
